Privacy Policy

Facit does not collect any personal data.

Your flashcard decks are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, they also sync through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to your other devices, in your private database. We have no access to that data.

Quiz games are played directly between phones nearby. Facit uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity — over Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi straight between the phones, or Bluetooth — never the internet or any server. Only what the game needs is sent: the name each player types, the deck's title and subject, the questions, and each player's answers and score. The questions are not saved on the other players' phones, and a game doesn't change anyone's study progress. Your own name is remembered on your phone for the next game. iOS asks for Local Network access for this; Facit uses it only for quiz games.

The facit.study website sets no cookies. If you pick a language, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Facit has no user accounts, contains no advertising, uses no analytics or tracking, and includes no third-party SDKs. The camera is used only, on your request, to scan a deck or quiz-game QR code; camera frames are processed on-device and never stored or transmitted.
